Mini Symposium

This Symposium has Concluded

A mini-symposium, Emerging Non-Ergodic Methods for Intact Protein Sequence Studies, will be held during the day preceding the Symposium, Sunday, August 21, 2005. Both electron capture dissociation (ECD) and electron transfer dissociation (ETD) techniques show significant promise for sequencing of intact proteins as well as peptides. Of particular interest is the growing literature on preservation of site location of labile post-translational modifications, e.g., phosphorylation, using these methods.

The mini-symposium will feature keynote lectures by leading figures in this exciting new area of mass spectrometry and proteomics, as well as solicited poster presentations from participants

A reduced joint registration fee for Symposium registrants has been arranged.
